The Distiller’s Journal

Aged whiskey release date – a letter to our fans…

We owe you a thank you.
Not in a cheesy “thanks for your business” kind of way, but in a “thanks for believing in us” kind of way.
You’ve made Headlong a star and Peabody Jones a legend. You’ve helped us bottle, label, wrap, and package. You’ve aged your own whiskey and you’ve asked if Woodinville Whiskey products are on the menu at your favorite bar.
Because of you, two whiskey drinking friends are living their dream. We’re lucky enough to wake up each morning and spend our day crafting what we aspire to be as some of the best whiskey money can buy. And we’ve had the fortune of doing that under the mentorship of a whiskey legend.
So thanks for your support, your time, and your loyalty.
We’re excited to announce the inaugural bottling of our annual Harvest Release which will be available on November 19th. Each year we will introduce a limited edition whiskey around harvest season. This year’s release includes two whiskey styles; a Bourbon and an American Whiskey. The Bourbon is flavorful and balanced, yet it maintains its character and complexity from start to finish. The American whiskey is smooth and approachable with a light sweetness and clean finish. We are very proud to put our name on both.
Two more releases from our Microbarreled™ Collection are slated for early 2012: our signature Bourbon – Mash Bill No. 9 and our 100% Rye Whiskey, the first rye whiskey produced in Washington State since Prohibition. These two products will form the core platform of our Microbarreled™ Collection.
The distillery will open at 7am on November 19th and 2 bottles per person will be available. David Pickerell will be in the tasting room to sign bottles and the first 100 Facebook fans to purchase will receive a limited edition “Barrel 1, Batch 1” WWCo. t-shirt. Select Washington state liquor stores will also have a limited supply available.
We look forward to seeing you.
Brett & Orlin
