Spicy and smoky, Chad’s Cactus Pete cocktail is built with Woodinville Rye.
 
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Woodinville Rye
.75 oz. Ancho Reyes
.75 oz. lemon
.5 oz. simple syrup
.25 oz. Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
Garnish with a lemon twist
 
Simple syrup:
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
-Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a simmer on low heat while stirring to dissolve sugar and prevent scorching.
-Once simmering remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature
