John Collins


The John Collins is such a great drink to have in rotation. It’s said to have been created by, and named for, the headwaiter at a hotel in London in the mid-1800s.
 
Ingredients:
2 oz Woodinville Bourbon
.5 oz Simple syrup
1 oz Fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 oz Club soda
Cherries (garnish)
Orange slice (garnish)
 
Combine Bourbon, simple syrup and lemon juice in Collins glass (or whichever glass available) with ice. Stir in glass and top with Soda. Garnish with cherries and an orange slice.
