The Sazerac


Renee, our Brand Ambassador in Texas, is here to show you how to craft a classic Sazerac.
 
Ingredients:
 
2 oz. Woodinville Rye Whiskey
3-4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Ice
1 sugar cube
A glass rinse of Absinthe
Lemon peel for garnish
 
The method:
 
Swirl a chilled glass with absinthe to coat the glass, tossing out the absinthe.
In another glass, muddle and mix sugar and bitters.
Add rye and fill glass with ice.
Stir the mixture and strain into the glass previously rinsed with absinthe.
Garnish with lemon.
