Trouble in Paradise Cocktail

Renee shares Isaac Shumway’s “Trouble in Paradise” cocktail (Tosca, in San Francisco).
1 oz Woodinville Straight Bourbon
1 oz Campari
¾ oz lemon juice
¾ oz grapefruit juice
Honey syrup (recipe below)
Fresh basil
Fresh cracked black pepper (to choice)
Fill cocktail shaker with ingredients including a crack or two of black pepper and a sprig or two of fresh basil. Fill shaker with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with more fresh basil.
How to make Honey Syrup:
Combine 2 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp warm water until honey dissolves. Set said
