Whiskey of the Year & Best Rye Whiskey Awards!

After the inaugural release of our Flagship Straight Bourbon Whiskey in the fall of 2015, we were honored to receive “2016 Whiskey of the Year” at the American Distilling Institute Craft Spirits Judging Competition, the highest honor given in the competition.
Just one year later following the inaugural release of our Flagship Straight Rye Whiskey, we were named “Best Rye Whiskey” and awarded the coveted “Double Gold Medal,” an honor only bestowed upon 10 of the 802 spirits entered in the competition! A double gold medal is awarded as an outstanding example a spirit’s class and category. It is only awarded if all the judges in a panel recommend a gold medal and the panel believes the spirit to be exemplary.
For our two flagship products to be awarded in such a way against so many other incredible craft whiskies is truly an honor. When we set out on this journey almost 8 years ago our mission statement was to create the greatest craft whiskey possible. That continues to be our mission and something we live by every day.
The American Distilling Institute Craft Spirits Competition is the largest and oldest craft spirits competition in the country. It is part of an annual 4-day conference attended by over 500 distilleries and 1,600 distillery staff and industry experts from 44 states and 15 countries.
